Doug Shiflet
has lived in Asheboro since 1972. He started his photography business
in 1979. His photography skills vary, but his focus remains in the
equestrian field. In his 28 years of work, Doug has photographed every
major breed at some of the largest shows in the Unites States. Most
renown is the World´s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
It is here that he takes to center ring as the official photographer to
capture the graceful and athletic motion of the best American
Saddlebred horses in the world. He has been the official photographer
there for 24 years, and is still going strong!
Doug´s work has appeared in major publications across the globe. His wife and partner Debbie plays a major role in the success of the business. They have three sons, Brad, Daniel and Andrew.
